#SrigleyStats Weekend Recap: New Hampshire
Taking a look back at this weekend's events from New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Listen… there are only so many witty lead-ins that a person can make about Mother Nature and its impact on the NASCAR Cup Series. However, here we are, after the weather failed to cooperate (again), sending the Crayon 301 to Monday.
Martin Truex, Jr. - the master of Monday in NASCAR - didn’t mind though, leading an insane number of laps in Monday’s event, en-route to his third victory of 2023.

#SrigleyStats Spotlight Driver - Loudon: Josh Williams
How about back-to-back top-10 results for Josh Williams? That’s impressive, and something that hasn’t happened in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2020, when Williams recorded a career-high six top-10s in a single season.
With a ninth-place result at Atlanta Motor Speedway and an eighth-place result at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Williams has developed a bit of a hot streak as the series heads to its next event at Pocono Raceway.
The speed wasn’t a fluke either, as during points of Saturday’s event, Williams was running well inside the top-10, and posting lap times quicker than those running inside the top five, which was a cause of celebration from the broadcast.
Now, with quite a few races remaining until the post-season, Williams has climbed to 20th in NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings, but unless he scores a miracle victory, he’ll likely be relegated to battling for that position in final points.
