SWITCHING IT UP IN THE IRISH HILLS OF MICHIGAN

Sunday/Monday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Michigan International Speedway provided lots of captivating racing, with an event that saw an incredible 26 lead changes over the course of 200 laps.

That’s the most lead changes in a NASCAR Cup Series event at Michigan International Speedway since 2012, a race in which Greg Biffle captured the victory for Roush Fenway Racing.


RETZLAFF, BURTON PUTTING STRENGTH OF JAR ON DISPLAY

Finishing ninth and tenth in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Michigan International Speedway, both Parker Retzlaff and Jeb Burton have been showing the strength of Jordan Anderson Racing in the second-tier series.

Between the two drivers, the organization has recorded a total of nine top-10 finishes - five with Retzlaff and four with Burton - which equates to one less than the team’s previous tenure in the Xfinity Series.


CASTROL SCORES FIRST CUP SERIES VICTORY

Adorning a NASCAR Cup Series entry for the 29th time, Castrol has officially scored its first victory as a primary sponsor at NASCAR’s top-level, by adorning the No. 17 Ford Mustang for RFK Racing.

The brand previously scored a pair of victories in 1999 as a primary sponsor of the No. 27 for Casey Atwood, winning at The Milwaukee Mile and Dover Motor Speedway.
