For the second straight year, Charlotte Motor Speedway put on a fantastic show for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, even despite all of the torture that Mother Nature put the track through.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series started the weekend on Friday, but it took until late, late on Memorial Day (Monday) for the conclusion of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, which had been delayed on two different occasions.

WILLIAM BYRON GETTING HOT HEADING INTO SUMMER STRETCH
William Byron, the only three-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series this season, has started to put together some extremely strong runs as the series progresses to the summer months, putting down four top-five finishes in a row.
The top-five finishes at Dover, Kansas, Darlington, and Charlotte mark the first time in Byron’s NASCAR Cup Series career that he’s recorded four consecutive top-five results for Hendrick Motorsports.
JORDAN ANDERSON RACING FINDS STRIDE AT CHARLOTTE
With finishes of sixth and seventh-place finishes for Parker Retzlaff and Jeb Burton, Jordan Anderson Racing put together another stellar result at Charlotte Motor Speedway, thanks to some exceptional strategy by crew chiefs Shane Whitbeck and Joshua Graham.
It’s the second time in the last four NASCAR Xfinity Series events that Jordan Anderson Racing has placed both of its entries inside the top-10 in a single event, just weeks after they did so at Talladega, with Burton scoring the win.
TRICON GARAGE BRINGS FAST TRUCKS OUT IN CHARLOTTE
Friday at Charlotte, TRICON Garage brought five quick NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entries out for Corey Heim, and Dean Thompson, who finished second and third in the NC Education Lottery 200.
The top-five finishes for the No. 5 and No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pros were the 10th and 11 top-five of the year for the five-truck organization, which is now the most top-fives the organization has scored in a single year
