LAJOIE HAS CAREER NIGHT IN BRISTOL, BUT DOESN’T GET THE RESULT

Saturday’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race was a career evening for Corey LaJoie, who showed top-10 speed throughout much of the evening, prior to a mid-race accident.

LaJoie, who finished second in the first stage of the race, led 48 laps in Saturday’s event, the most he’s ever led in a NASCAR Cup Series event - or season for that matter.


RYAN SIEG EARNS POSITIVE RESULT DESPITE SPIN AT BRISTOL

Despite being involved in an early accident with Josh Berry, Sam Mayer, and Brandon Jones, Ryan Sieg was able to rebound to a finish of sixth place in Friday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway.

For Sieg, it’s the best finish on a non-superspeedway in the series since finishing fifth in the Fall 2021 event at Kansas Speedway, nearly two years ago.


TAYLOR GRAY STARTING TO FIND STRIDE IN NASCAR TRUCK SERIES

Finishing fifth in Thursday’s UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, Taylor Gray picked up his second consecutive result inside the top-five, after scoring a runner-up finish at Kansas Speedway, one week prior.

It’s the first time in his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career that the younger of the Gray brothers has earned back-to-back top-10 finishes, let alone top-fives.
